I would like to thank Major General Greg Bair for his twelve years of dedication and service as commander of the 1^st Legion, Provisional Army of the Confederate States. It was his vision that brought us together and formed the Legion back in the spring of 1998. He has led us through good times and bad times and always led by example. His tenure as commander is hard to match in our hobby.

I would also like to thank our staff. Whether you served for one event or for a decade, your hard work, dedication and service to the Legion, General Bair and myself is appreciated. To quote General Bair; “You are a great team, no a great family, and I shall miss our times together”. We thank you.
